Sudan Democracy Action Project is an initiative of the AMEL Organization, aimed at promoting democracy and human rights in Sudan through various activities such as research fellowships and training programs. The project seeks to build a knowledgeable and qualified generation that can effectively contribute to building a bright and sustainable future for Sudan.

Enhancing leadership skills, supporting youth initiatives, developing capacities in community work, and analyzing the role of youth in sustainable development in Sudan.

Psychosocial Support

We provide psychosocial support to displaced and refugee Sudanese youth through sessions aimed at enhancing psychological resilience and developing stress management skills.

Achievements

At Sudan Democracy Action Project, we take pride in achieving a tangible impact through our ongoing efforts to promote human rights and democracy in Sudan. We have trained over 5,000 young men and women on the principles of human rights and democracy, and organized 20 workshops and community initiatives across the country. We successfully implemented 10 specialized training programs covering vital topics such as democracy, rule of law, and peacebuilding. Additionally, we have published over 20 articles and research papers to raise public awareness, with our initiatives reaching more than one million Sudanese.
